If you'd like to adjust the specification—whether opting for premium selections or a more economical approach. A low budget outcome will include less tiling and lower specification tapware. TILES
Tiles significantly influence the overall cost of your bathroom. We've outlined some key considerations in our article [here]. In summary we tend to work with 2 main options
Stone Tiles: While more expensive, they offer authentic natural beauty and timeless elegance.
Porcelain Tiles: A durable and less costly alternative that balances style and practicality.
Carefully weighing these choices will help align your tile selection with your budget and design goals.
Stone tends to be around double the price of rectified porcelain tiles due in part to additional support, installation time, sealing and product cost.
We can assist if this is not straightforward answer for you.

TAPWARE FINISH
Do you have a preferred finish for your tapware? Chrome and brushed stainless are among the most versatile options, making it easier to match fittings and fixtures across your space. However, many other finishes are available, including copper, matte black, and gunmetal, each bringing a distinct aesthetic.
It’s worth noting that achieving a fully coordinated look in a single finish can sometimes be challenging—white and certain copper tones may have limited accessory options, and not all brands offer a complete range across every finish. We can typically find a solution that works, but unique selections might require careful planning, especially when sourcing towel rails or other complementary pieces.

TAPWARE CONTROL
Bathroom tap controls vary in functionality and design. Separate taps (or pillar taps) feature independent hot and cold controls, offering a traditional approach where users manually adjust each temperature source. Mixer taps, on the other hand, combine hot and cold water within a single spout, allowing users to adjust both temperature and flow using a single lever. Progressive mixers differ by using a rotating dial that starts with cold water and gradually increases both temperature and flow as it turns, providing a smoother transition without sudden temperature changes. While standard mixers allow independent control of temperature and water pressure, progressive mixers offer a more intuitive, streamlined experience with continuous adjustment.

BATH CONFIGURATION
Bathtubs come in various styles, each offering distinct aesthetics and functionality. Freestanding baths serve as statement pieces, positioned independently without wall attachments, often available in round, oval, or rectangular shapes with varying depths for a luxurious soak. Hob baths are built into a tiled or framed surround, seamlessly integrating with bathroom designs while providing a practical edge for storage or styling. Back-to-wall baths combine the sleek look of a freestanding tub with the space efficiency of a wall-mounted design, making them ideal for compact bathrooms or for those who don't want to clean behind the bath. Shapes such as round, oval, and rectangular influence both comfort and visual appeal, while dimensions vary widely—standard lengths range from 1500mm to 1800mm, with depths typically between 400mm and 600mm, depending on the model.
